Meet Campbell River’s Trustworthy Mobile Mechanic!

DCD Automotive was founded on three principles: natural curiosity, a love of community, and pride in our work. These values led Darin Dennill - our founder - to spend many hours in his father’s workshop at a young age, fixing anything he could get his hands on.

From then on, it was clear that Darin had a natural talent for fixing cars and mechanics. In 1999, Darin decided to become a professional technician in the Campbell River area to use his talents to help others.
He excelled as a technician working in local shops, acquiring over 12 years of experience and expert level skills with brakes, but in his heart always felt that there was something missing. He had a strong need for serving his community and focusing on delivering convenient, quality and affordable services. He felt each customer deserved to be met with a great experience and that technicians should do work that they love and are proud of at an affordable rate - this became Darin’s mission.
In 2021, D.C.D. Automotive was founded with this mission in mind. After helping a single mom get her vehicle back on the road and safe for her child at an affordable rate. Darin knew that each member of our community could benefit from these services, on more than one occasion he has worked closely with customers to develop a plan to get their vehicle back on track without breaking the bank. These are often our favourite customers!
We’re happy to execute this, not only by providing a personal, quality service, but by meeting customers where they are - at home, at work, or anywhere that their adventures may have taken them, and left them in need of a mechanic they could trust.
